Hope you are well and managing to keep sane in these crazy times! I just wanted to give you an update on our documentary that we are making on the effects of the lockdown. I have to be honest with you that it has been really difficult…. to think about how we deal with the hours and hours of footage we have as it is going to end up more like a marathon-series!
The experiences we have heard about range from sadness to despair but also to hope of a brighter future and that does bring me some encouragement. We will most likely broadcast a 1 hour special and then produce all the individual stories on our website both in visual and also written format so we can keep and share them for the future in order that people waken up to the fact that lockdowns can NEVER be allowed again. I will be conducting more interviews over the next week or so and then we will be wrapping up our external filming in Edinburgh with a special interview. You may have heard that there will be a protest against the lockdowns in London on the 20th of March and it is most likely my colleague Oliver Down will be going down to cover it and I will also be in the studio collating footage of it and watching live.
Can we just say a huge thanks to everyone who has contributed to the documentary and we will go above and beyond what we intended to do. Of course this means involving others to assist with editing etc so if you are able to contribute that would be greatly appreciated. Of course we understand that times are tough so sharing our content and also spreading the word is equally as valuable as contributing financially.

I can assure you that this is only the start of our wider campaign against these lockdowns and the devastating effects of them.
