It has emerged that Tony Blair’s son is now estimated to be worth £73 million. Whilst Tony Blair has made millions advising foreign leaders and mighty corporations around the world since stepping down as prime minister, Euan Blair is set to dwarf his father’s wealth after his share in an education start-up company he founded was valued at almost £70million.
Euan, who is now 37 is the Blairs’ eldest son. He was famously arrested aged 16 for being ‘drunk and incapable’ as he celebrated his completion of his GCSE exams. Euan Blair’s company is called Multiverse and offers young people an alternative to university.
Tony, Cherie and their children are all millionaires through property alone. However, Cherie Blair was mired in controversy in the ‘Cheriegate’ saga in 2002, when she purchased two flats in Bristol. It was alleged, but denied, that she received a discount negotiated for her by Australian conman Peter Foster, then boyfriend of her friend and stylist Carole Caplin.
Tony Blair’s second son Nicky, 35, is a football agent whilst the Blairs’ only daughter Katrhryn followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a barrister. Euan attended a catholic boys school, The London Oratory School, in Fulham, and was a head boy.
It is also being reported that Euan lives in a central London townhouse in a property worth £4.6million. In 2013 Euan married his girlfriend Suzanne Ashman. Ashman is a partner at venture capital firm Local Globe.
